A widow herself, Carole spent the holidays comforting her friend Cassandra Grey, who had just lost her husband. This made Bethenny feel neglected and she allegedly bombarded Carole with text messages.
Bethenny herself was dealing with custody issues and stress caused by her ex-husband's stalking incidents earlier in the year. Sadly, the breakdown in their friendship was caused by a simple lack of communication on both sides.
