Fan Theory Predicts Bridgerton S3 Trailer Release Date, and It's Bad News
This Bridgerton fan has laid it all out for us, and the numbers do not look good.
For the longest time, fans have been patiently waiting for the release of the trailer for their favorite steamy Regency drama. So far, we have seen and heard nothing new.
Desperate for answers and with time on their hands, fans have come up with many controversial as well as compelling theories about the upcoming season and what will happen next. Most fans are focused on trying to figure out when we can expect an official trailer, social media content, or the actual release date.
One fan went back in time to look at Bridgerton's season 2 timeline and how Netflix released content, and it doesn't look promising for hopeful fans.
Bridgerton's season 2 release schedule went like this:
- First Look (Tudum) - September 25, 2021
- Release date announcement - December 25, 2021
- Teaser Trailer - February 14, 2022
- Official Trailer - March 9, 2022
- Release date - March 25, 2022
There was no first look clip at the Tudum festival in June this year, so fans are still waiting for the release of a teaser trailer, and more importantly, the official trailer. We just want to see something.
The official trailer for season 2 was released on March 9, 2022, and the season was officially released just 2 weeks later. If season 3 follows this pattern and the December 14th leak is true, that means we'll be waiting until late November for the official trailer and a glimpse of what's to come.
The teaser trailer for season 2 came out a little over a month before the official release, and if that is repeated for season 3, then we can expect the teaser trailer to be released around November 3 this year, which is not much closer than the possible release of the official trailer.
So, according to this fan theory, we are looking at about 3 months before we get to see any kind of trailer for Bridgerton season 3, which feels like an eternity. The whole wait is made worse by the lack of the first look clip at Tudum, that would have at least given us something to hold on to.
This wasn't the news we were hoping for, but at least we can hope that the excitement around season 3 will pick up in November this year, or even late October when we finally (potentially) get a trailer. We have no doubt that it will be worth the wait.
