Every Special Grade Sorcerer in Jujutsu Kaisen, Ranked From Least to Most Lethal

Who really tops Jujutsu Kaisen’s power pyramid? We rank the special grade sorcerers—the jujutsu world’s true ceiling—from shadowy former classmates to unstoppable prodigies, climbing from merely formidable to drop-everything-and-run.
Jujutsu Kaisen only has a handful of people who can bend the rules of its world, and they all wear the same label: special grade sorcerer. These are the ones everyone else hopes to not run into in a hallway. Here’s my straight-shot ranking of the big four, from extremely dangerous to please-do-not-be-here-when-they-arrive, plus what makes each of them so ridiculous in a fight.
4. Suguru Geto: Collector of Nightmares
Geto is the ex-classmate turned problem. He used to run side by side with Satoru Gojo at Jujutsu High, then decided humanity itself was the issue and switched teams. His signature move is plain scary: he absorbs and commands cursed spirits, turning them into an arsenal he can mix and match mid-fight. Think toolbox, but every tool screams and explodes.
On top of that, he’s fast, sharp, and scary-good at reading a battlefield. He also wields Playful Cloud, a three-section staff that becomes downright mean in his hands. Back in his student days he could push Gojo; in the present, he’s still a top-tier threat, just a step below the absolute peak.
3. Yuki Tsukumo: The No-Show With Nuke-Level Hands
Yuki is one of the rarest of the rare: a special grade who picks her spots. She’s not big on assignments unless they serve her agenda, which is basically 'end curses at the root.' Philosophically neat, terrifying if you are a curse.
She trained Aoi Todo and drilled him on how to counter Domain Expansions using Simple Domain, which already tells you how deep her technique knowledge goes. In a fight, she favors up-close destruction. Her cursed technique, Star Rage, gives her and her shikigami Garuda a kind of artificial mass boost, so her punches and Garuda’s hits land like a freight train. She can also put up a Simple Domain that shuts down enemy techniques, which is exactly as unfair as it sounds in close quarters.
We still haven’t seen the full extent of her ceiling. The whispers about what she can really do are not comforting.
2. Yuta Okkotsu: The Human Swiss Army Knife
Yuta’s whole deal started with tragedy: his childhood friend Rika became a curse bound to him. Instead of being wrecked by that, he learned to control it and turned into one of the most versatile fighters in the series. Rika’s cursed energy pool is absurd, and Yuta taps it with almost no strain, supercharging his offense and patching himself up with reverse cursed technique when needed.
He’s also a technique polyglot. He can imitate abilities like Toge Inumaki’s Cursed Speech, summon shikigami, and pivot between styles without dropping tempo. Pair that with elite swordwork and you get a sorcerer who can adapt to pretty much any matchup. Raw power plus flexibility puts him well above most.
1. Satoru Gojo: The Walking Patch Notes
Gojo isn’t just overpowered; he rewrites the rulebook while you’re reading it. With Limitless and the Six Eyes, he manipulates space with surgical accuracy and spends cursed energy like he’s got a discount no one else gets. Infinity stalls attacks before they even touch him, and his Blue, Red, and Purple techniques erase obstacles like they were never there in the first place.
He doesn’t just rely on hax either. He blends it with crisp hand-to-hand skill and makes special grade curses look like sparring dummies. He is the ceiling of the Jujutsu Kaisen power chart, and there’s daylight between him and everyone else.
Quick power snapshot
- Suguru Geto — Style: curse command and close-quarters brawling. Signature: absorbs and combines cursed spirits, wields the three-section staff Playful Cloud.
- Yuki Tsukumo — Style: melee pressure and technique counters. Signature: Star Rage 'virtual mass' strikes, Garuda shikigami, Simple Domain that neutralizes enemy techniques.
- Yuta Okkotsu — Style: adaptable hybrid fighter. Signature: Rika’s massive cursed energy on tap, reverse cursed technique healing, copies like Cursed Speech, plus top-tier swordplay.
- Satoru Gojo — Style: spatial control with brutal efficiency. Signature: Limitless and Six Eyes, Infinity defense, Blue/Red/Purple that delete problems from reality.
Bottom line: these four prove that in this world, power isn’t just a number. It’s knowledge, technique, and how ruthlessly you can put both to work.
