Nearly a year after It Ends With Us, Colleen Hoover’s Regretting You is quietly racking up ticket sales—and sparking buzz for its Nathaniel Walcott–curated soundtrack. Here’s every song featured in the film so you can replay the feelings long after the credits roll.

Regretting You, the new Colleen Hoover adaptation, quietly slipped into theaters last week and has been pulling steady crowds ever since. And yes — if you walked out wondering what was on that killer playlist, you were not alone. The song choices are sharp and varied, with Nathaniel Walcott steering the soundtrack and a few well-placed needle drops doing a lot of the emotional heavy lifting.

It is a very 2020s mix in the best way: The Killers and Stereophonics on the nostalgia end, Frightened Rabbit and Widowspeak for the mood, a Suki Waterhouse cut, and a Better Oblivion Community Center track for the indie kids. Marco Beltrami and Marcus Trumpp also pop up with a couple of tense cues that thread the story together. The whole thing sits neatly with the film's approach — big feelings, sharp edges, no filler.

What the movie is actually about

Paramount's Regretting You centers on Morgan Grant and her daughter, Clara, who are forced to pick up the pieces after a devastating accident exposes a betrayal that reshapes their family. It's a grief-and-secrets drama that also makes room for young love and second chances without going full melodrama.

The cast is stacked for this kind of thing: Allison Williams and Mckenna Grace lead as Morgan and Clara, with Dave Franco and Mason Thames in key roles. The supporting bench includes Sam Morelos, Scott Eastwood, Willa Fitzgerald, and Clancy Brown. Susan McMartin wrote the screenplay, and Josh Boone directs.

Where and when you can see it

Regretting You is now playing in theaters across the United States. If you care about the music, this is one of those films where hearing it on a proper sound system is worth the trip.
