Elizabeth Olsen Finally Sets the Record Straight on Avengers: Doomsday

Elizabeth Olsen finally addressed the big Wanda-in-the-next-Avengers question, and the short version is: she loves the Scarlet Witch, but she has no idea if she is in Avengers: Doomsday. Classic Marvel answer, but she actually gives a little more than the usual coy non-answer.

So... is Wanda in Doomsday?

Olsen told The Playlist while promoting her upcoming film Eternity that she is proud of everything she has made with Marvel and would love to keep playing Wanda Maximoff. But when it comes to Avengers: Doomsday, she says there are no multiverse plans in motion on her end and she genuinely does not know when or how she would come back.

Both films are moving forward, and they line up with the way Olsen says she wants to steer her career right now: not hopping franchise to franchise, but working on projects that feel more reflective of the culture and the moment.
