Eisenberg says fans should brace themselves for a game-changing surprise when the illusionists return to the big screen.

The Horsemen are dusting off the decks. The third Now You See Me is officially called 'Now You See Me: Now You Don’t,' and Jesse Eisenberg is already warning everyone to brace for a big swing of an ending.

What Eisenberg is teasing

'There is a genuinely brilliant, incredibly effective twist in the movie,' Eisenberg told Entertainment Weekly. 'I don’t want to give away anything, but the twist happens because of some really great acting. It will blow your mind.'

He says test screenings have gone wild for the finale. The funny part: he admits he had to ask director Ruben Fleischer to explain the twist because it didn’t click for him at first. After reading the script three times, he still had it wrong. In his words, either audiences are really sharp, or he’s the one missing the obvious. The takeaway is simple: the ending is meant to be a crowd-pleaser, and it isn’t just a screenplay gimmick — it hinges on the performances, which is a fun, slightly inside-baseball detail for a movie built on misdirection.

Eisenberg also teased 'surprise appearances' that he swears are anything but routine cameos. His pitch: the shocks are actually surprising and they happen in a pretty unusual way.

The movie and the players

Ruben Fleischer is behind the camera for this one, with Lionsgate bringing the crew back. Eisenberg is once again J. Daniel 'Danny' Atlas, joined by the core ensemble and some new faces. Here’s who is confirmed so far:
