Dylan Efron Teases Zac Efron’s DWTS Season 34 Cameo: When It Could Happen
Dylan Efron finally addressed Zac Efron’s absence from the Dancing With the Stars live audience, revealing why his brother hasn’t shown up yet — and when fans might finally spot him in Season 34.
Everyone figured Zac Efron would pop up in the Dancing With the Stars audience the second his brother Dylan laced up his dance shoes. He hasn’t. Dylan finally explained why, and no, there’s no family drama here.
So where’s Zac?
After Tuesday’s show, Dylan said Zac hasn’t been in the ballroom yet, but he’s not on the sidelines emotionally. He talks to Dylan constantly and is cheering from afar.
"Hey, he’s doing his thing."
Translation: work. Dylan made it sound pretty clear Zac’s schedule is the holdup, not interest.
Who has been there
The rest of the Efrons have shown up loud and proud. Dylan said they’ve been in the crowd week after week, front and center. The sweetest moment so far was Dedication Night last week, when little sister Olivia joined Dylan on the floor. She’s 5, he’s 33, and he admits he didn’t expect to be a big brother again at this stage. Now they’re inseparable. According to Dylan, Olivia is still riding the high from that dance, back in her classes, and, in his words, crushing it. He wants to model confidence for her, which is very big-brother energy.
Why Zac’s calendar is a problem
He’s busy. Zac has multiple projects in motion, which likely explains the no-show so far:
- Famous, directed by Jody Hill
- Judgment Day, directed by Nicholas Stoller
Will Zac show up this season?
Dylan didn’t promise anything, just that Zac’s support is constant even if he’s not parked in the audience. If the schedule breaks his way, sure, but for now, don’t read into the empty seat.
How to watch
