What happened last time

Episode 2 had Colter and Russell digging into an underground operation called 'The Process.' It was one of those shadowy schemes that keeps creating new problems unless you cut off the head, so the two decided to track it back to where it started and try to shut the whole thing down.

This week picks up on Halloween night, when a nurse turns up murdered and an arsonist named Heston Koontz vanishes from a psychiatric facility. Colter teams up with a local officer named Dundee — yes, Dundee — to piece together who did what, when, and how a missing firebug factors into a fresh homicide.
