Days of Our Lives Cast Shake-Up: Who’s In, Who’s Out This Week (Dec. 8–12)
Salem is about to explode as Days of Our Lives unleashes shock discoveries, kidnappings, and whiplash twists — with iconic returns and major exits shaking the canvas. Here’s who’s in and who’s out for Dec. 8–12.
Salem is doing what Salem does best this week: a mad scientist pops up, a DiMera gets snatched, and a deep-cut character is inching back into the picture. Here is what is actually happening on Days of Our Lives for Dec 8-12, 2025.
Comings and goings for Dec 8-12
- In now: Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton) reappears and sets up shop in EJ DiMera's lab. He crosses paths with Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk), so expect some gloriously odd scenes there.
- Kidnapping watch: Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) gets pulled into a kidnapping storyline this week, but to be clear, the one who actually gets abducted is EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel). EJ's fate is the big cliffhanger energy here.
- On deck for next week: Peter Blake (Dan Gauthier) finally returns after 27 years away. Yes, Kristen's long-lost brother. That is a deep cut even by Salem standards.
- Departures: None confirmed for this specific week. And beyond the names above, there are no additional new cast arrivals for the second week of December.
Meanwhile in Salem...
Stacy Haiduk is doing double duty again, juggling Susan Banks' sass and Kristen DiMera's schemes. On the Susan side, she is in Rolf's orbit. On the Kristen side, well, Kristen is Kristen. Because why let one DiMera crisis breathe when you can stack them.
Elsewhere, Sophia (Rachel Boyd) is pulling young Rachel Black (Alice Halsey) into her sphere of influence. The show is clearly setting up trouble there, especially with the EJ situation unfolding at the same time.
