Shake-ups hit Salem as Days of Our Lives unleashes surprise arrivals and abrupt exits Sept 22–26—who’s stepping in, who’s checking out, and how their moves will jolt the week’s drama.

Heads up, Days fans: the week of Sept 22-26 is light on goodbyes and heavy on familiar faces rolling back into Salem. No major exits on the board, but a handful of returns and a new-ish name are poised to stir up drama, tech support, and a very on-brand blackout.

Who is showing up in Salem (Sept 22-26)

  • Miles Anderson (Foster): Anderson pops in as Foster, who lands at University Hospital under Kayla Brady’s (Mary Beth Evans) care. Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) also steps in to support him. New face, classic Salem welcome committee.
  • Judi Evans (Bonnie Kiriakis): The longtime vet is back as Bonnie. She’ll be at the Kiriakis mansion, helping Maggie with a computer issue. If you’ve ever tried to troubleshoot a laptop for a family member, you already know this could be spicier than half the town’s love triangles.
  • Kennedy Garcia (Felicity Greene): Felicity returns and crosses paths with Chanel and Alex at the Brady Pub right as Salem gets hit by a blackout. Because of course it does. Expect candlelight and complications.
  • Thaao Penghlis (Tony DiMera): Tony’s back, and he’s dealing with fallout from meddling in Kiriakis business. The big beat to watch: Maggie calls him directly. That’s your signal this is not a casual check-in.
  • Tina Huang (Melinda Trask): Melinda returns as well, still in advice mode with Sophia. If you’ve missed her strategic nudges, they’re back in play.

Anyone leaving?

Not this week. No major departures, which means the incoming energy has room to actually land.

Bottom line: a hospital arrival, a pub-in-the-dark meet-up, some Kiriakis family blowback, and Bonnie doing tech triage. It’s a very Days mix of cozy and chaotic, and it should keep the week moving.
