Financially, the actor's success is long gone.

Best known for his iconic role as Harry Potter in the eponymous movie series, Daniel Radcliffe continues to star in numerous film and TV projects, in addition to acting on the theater stage. Although he isn't forgotten altogether, the actor is clearly way past his peak of popularity.

The role of the 'boy who lived' was the highest-paid in Radcliffe's career, and it looks like his earnings have seriously dropped since the franchise's last installment, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2, which was released 12 years ago.

With a net worth of around $110 million, Daniel Radcliffe is still one of the richest British actors of all time. Back in the early 2000s, he definitely was the highest-paid child actor.

Eleven-year-old Daniel was awarded $1 million for playing the titular character in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. The next movie, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, earned him $3 million, and his paychecks for the later parts of the franchise continued to grow: $6, $11, $14, and $24 million, respectively. Then, for the two-parter finale, Radcliffe was paid a whopping $50 million!

And sadly, this was the most money the actor ever got to earn, despite starring in numerous other projects. Radcliffe's acting portfolio comprises The Woman in Black (2012), Kill Your Darlings (2013), Victor Frankenstein (2015), Now You See Me 2 (2016), and more recent Weird: The Al Yankovic Story and The Lost City (2022), in addition to many appearances on TV shows and theater stages, including Broadway.

Reportedly, Radcliffe's Now You See Me 2 and The Lost City are the biggest earners of his, bringing him $2 million in salary each. That surely is a lot of money — but not even close to his Harry Potter earnings! We should note, however, that these films also didn't have funds as big as the Harry Potter franchise's, so the cast's fees were not high.

But, according to the actor himself, he doesn't care about money much and can concentrate on the artistic part of acting, which he gladly does. Good for him — Daniel Radcliffe is still one of the highest-paid actors in history, and it's great to see him enjoying his career despite his decreasing income.
