Crack the Snowball Pug Code: Tame It Fast in Adopt Me
Roblox Adopt Me just unleashed the Snowball Pug in week two of its Christmas update. Adopt this frosty pup with Yarn Beanies, the new edible currency you earn from daily tasks and festive activities.
Adopt Me just added a new holiday pet, and yes, it is exactly as adorable as it sounds. The Snowball Pug rolled in during week two of the Christmas update, and getting it is less of a quick buy and more of a little patience-and-timing project. Think Kitty Bat vibes from back in the day: you have to earn its trust before it joins your crew.
Where to find the Snowball Pug
Head to Adoption Island and go to the lane behind the Pet Nursery, across the bridge. You are looking for a massive snow globe (appropriately named the Snowball Globe). Inside that globe, the Snowball Pug spawns every 2 in-game days, which translates to 20 minutes in real time. In other words: wait 20 minutes, then it appears.
How the taming actually works
Once the pug spawns, you feed it Yarn Beanies, the event-only edible currency added for the holiday update. Feeding is tied to a quick timing mini-game: a moving bar slides over the dog’s face, and you tap when it lines up.
Hit it right on the mark and you gain 10% trust. Land outside the face and you only get 5%. Every Yarn Beanie matters here. In a perfect run, 10 beanies gets you to 100% trust and the pug is yours. If your timing is off, expect to spend more than 10.
Do you have to grind? Kinda. Unless you buy.
You can flat-out purchase a bundle of 10 Yarn Beanies at the Snowball Globe for 250 Robux. If you are not dropping Robux, you will need to farm beanies the old-fashioned way.
How to get Yarn Beanies
- Complete your daily task: 1 free Yarn Beanie per day, refreshes every 24 hours. You can track it on the Task Board UI.
- Play event mini-games: The Sleighball mini-game sits right next to the Snowball Globe on Adoption Island. Each mini-game has a 12.5% chance to reward a Yarn Beanie, so it’s a numbers game—keep at it.
Quick notes before you dive in
Because the pug only pops up every 20 real minutes, it helps to stockpile beanies first so you can make your attempts count when it spawns. The timing game is simple, but missing turns a 10-beanie plan into a 12-or-14-beanie reality pretty fast.
If you are patient (or just really good at that timing bar), the Snowball Pug is a very achievable holiday get. And yes, it’s ridiculously cute. How many Yarn Beanies are you sitting on right now?
