One of the sweetest couples in contemporary Hollywood is undeniably HBO's Euphoria star, Zendaya, and her boyfriend, known for donning a red and blue spandex suit on several occasions. Just kidding, of course, Tom Holland is an equally prominent rising star whose acting prowess goes far beyond his role as Peter Parker in the MCU.
These two have had nothing but praise for each other ever since they went public with their relationship in 2021. While Holland has consistently expressed his preference for maintaining privacy in his personal life, he has paradoxically shared quite a few details about himself and Zendaya, perhaps oversharing at times.
Relationship History
Tom Holland and Zendaya first crossed paths on the set of Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2016. They forged a strong friendship from the onset, often spending time together and frequently featuring on each other's Instagram feeds. Their chemistry was palpable not just on screen but off it as well, leading fans to speculate about a possible romance during their joint appearances at various social events.
Although it was an open secret, Holland indirectly confirmed their relationship status in September 2021 when he wished his sweetheart a happy 25th birthday on Instagram. Additionally, a few months later, in November, the actor divulged that Zendaya inspires him in numerous ways.
'Having her in my life was so instrumental to my sanity,' he shared. 'She is so good at being the role model for young guys and girls. When anyone comes up, like, "Can I have a picture?," it's never a bad time. Whereas my initial reaction was: "Why are you talking to me? Leave me alone."'

In June 2023, the actor stated that he and Zendaya prefer to keep the intricacies of their personal lives private, expressing discomfort with fans infringing on their boundaries.
'Our relationship is something that we are incredibly protective of and we want to keep as sacred as possible,' he told THR. 'We don't think that we owe it to anyone, it's our thing, and it has nothing to do with our careers.'
However, this doesn't stop him from ceaselessly sharing a plethora of sweet (sometimes overly effusive) compliments about his partner. In July, for instance, he said that the secret to their healthy relationship lies in shared experiences and mutual understanding.
'I'm lucky that I have someone like Zendaya in my life. It's interesting being in a romantic relationship with someone that is in the same boat as you.'
We genuinely regard them as the epitome of relationship goals, even if Tom can be a tad too talkative despite his professed preference for privacy.
