With the actors' strike over for a while now, many projects have resumed production. James Gunn's Superman: Legacy is no exception. Casting for the upcoming movie is now in full swing.

David Corenswet as Superman
The star of The Politician, Hollywood, and We Own This City, this actor looks like the younger brother of Henry Cavill, who has portrayed Superman since 2013. A Juilliard graduate, Corenswet has considerable singing talent, which he won't be able to showcase in the upcoming Superman movie. A Clark Kent musical is a ridiculous idea. Or is it?..
Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane
The actress behind the beloved title character of Prime Video's hit dramedy The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel will portray Clark Kent's love interest, Lois Lane, an ambitious journalist who gets caught up in Superman's missions. Brosnahan has had a prolific career in television and film, but she's never had a role as big as starring in a major DC production.
Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor
The star of Marvel's X-Men franchise may sound like a dubious casting choice due to his involvement with a rival studio, but given Hoult's acting expertise, he will undoubtedly deliver an amply obnoxious antagonist that Lex Luthor is. It will also be interesting to see the actor play a villain for a change.
Skyler Gisondo as Jimmy Olsen
Although less well known than the others on this list, this actor has had an impressive career spanning decades and dozens of shows and TV productions. Over the years, Skyler has appeared on such major shows as House, Criminal Minds, and Once Upon a Time, and now he's about to portray Lois and Clark's best friend and colleague, Jimmy Olsen.
Sara Sampaio as Eve Teschmacher
This up-and-coming Portuguese actress hasn't had many roles yet, so the role of Eve Teschmacher, Lex Luthor's girlfriend/assistant, will be her big film debut. Considering that the character has been largely absent from previous DC installments, it'll be exciting to see her on screen no matter who plays her.
Anthony Carrigan as Metamorpho
The star of HBO's Barry, this actor isn't new to DC. He had an episodic role on The CW's The Flash. Now he's set to portray one of the lesser-known superheroes within the franchise, Metamorpho.
Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl
The actress, known for her roles in various Nickelodeon projects, has been cast to play one of DC's most iconic characters, Hawkgirl, who has been absent from the DCEU. Although Merced has had many movie roles, this will be her biggest yet.
Nathan Fillion as Green Lantern
The star of Castle and The Rookie has long been involved with DC, voicing Green Lantern in the studio's animated projects. Now, the actor is expected to reprise his role and appear in the flesh in Superman: Legacy.
