Call of Duty Black Ops 7 Beta: Exactly When the Servers Go Dark

Lock and load: Call of Duty Black Ops 7 opens its beta October 5–8, 2025—just four days to jump in before access is cut off for everyone, pre-orders included. Miss it, and you’re benched until launch.
Heads up, CoD folks: Black Ops 7 is about to crack open for a quick test drive, and I do mean quick. If you want in, you get a tight 72-hour window to mess around with the new multiplayer before Activision slams the doors shut until launch.
When the Black Ops 7 open beta actually runs
The open beta starts on October 5, 2025 at 10:00 AM PDT and ends on October 8, 2025 at the exact same time. That is the full window: 72 hours, no extra padding.
When it ends where you live
Here is the cutoff for the open beta in major regions. Set a reminder so you are not staring at a login error five minutes too late.
- USA (EDT): 1:00 PM on October 8
- UK (BST): 6:00 PM on October 8
- Europe (CEST): 7:00 PM on October 8
- China (CST): 1:00 AM on October 9
- India (IST): 10:30 PM on October 8
- Brazil (BRT): 2:00 PM on October 8
- Australia (AEDT): 4:00 AM on October 9
- New Zealand (NZDT): 6:00 AM on October 9
- Japan (JST): 2:00 AM on October 9
What you can play during the beta
All the usual multiplayer toys are on the table: maps, weapons, and the upgraded MP systems Treyarch showed off during the CoD: NEXT showcase. It is a good chance to shake out your loadouts and get a feel for the pacing before launch.
What happens after the beta ends
Once the clock hits zero on October 8, that is it. Access shuts off for everyone. Free players, people who pre-ordered, all of you get booted until release. The next time you can play is November 14, 2025, when Black Ops 7 launches on all platforms. Unless Treyarch decides to spin up a surprise extra weekend (not promised, so do not bank on it).
A little inside baseball: beta builds are usually separate from the final game, so expect to reinstall at launch. The good news is your progress should carry over to release as long as your Activision account is properly linked to your platform. If you want a head start on unlocks and muscle memory, the beta is worth the download.
Short version: you get three days to kick the tires. Make them count.
