Bridgerton S3 Prediction: What Role Will Harry Dankworth Play in the Plot?

It's exactly five weeks until the first part of Bridgerton Season 3 premieres on Netflix, but we still don't know much about the upcoming installment as it's being kept almost completely under wraps to keep viewers excited. Fortunately, we recently got a sneak peek at our beloved characters and their stunning attire as they read Lady Whistledown's new issue.

Needless to say, all the chutzpah surrounding Lady Whistledown and Penelope's fate in Season 3 is thrilling. But the release also gave us something else to get excited about – a look at the new characters that will be making their debut in Season 3. And while it was nice to get a glimpse of Hannah Dodd's Francesca, it was another character that caught our attention the most. The charming Harry Dankworth captivated Bridgerton fans with his laughter at whatever he was reading in LW's brochure.

A Golden Retriever

Since Season 3 will largely focus on Penelope, both in her Lady Whistledown enterprise and in her relationship with Colin Bridgerton, it's inevitable that the third installment will delve into the lives of the Featheringtons. Long story short, Pen will end up with Colin and Portia won't have to worry about her. But what about Philippa and Prudence?

It seems that the eldest Featherington girls will also find their match. In particular, Prudence will have a new suitor, Harry Dankworth, played by James Phoon of Wreck fame. And while little is known about the character, it seems he won't be the brightest of the bunch.

Harry seems to be a sweet but clueless kind of person who goes about his day without thinking too much. If there are any Young Sheldon fans in the house, let's call him the Georgie of the Bridgertonverse. But will he play a significant role in the Season 3 storyline, other than being a nice decoration?

Nothing to Worry about

Harry Dankworth does not seem to be an important addition to the overall plot of Bridgerton. He may be amusing and cute, but so far he does not seem to have any real substance or nuance to add to the story. He may marry Prudence and take that worry off Portia's shoulders, and maybe even endear himself to the fun-loving Benedict, but it doesn't look like he's going to affect the course of events on the show.

Hopefully, we'll get to know him better when Season 3 of Bridgerton premieres on May 16, as he seems like a fun character to follow.
