Bold & Beautiful Today: Taylor's Ultimatum for Deacon — Oct. 30 Recap
Wedding bells collide with hard lines in the Oct. 30 Bold and the Beautiful: Liam and Hope celebrate Brooke gifting them a house as Beth twirls in her would-be dress — and Taylor draws a boundary with Deacon that could change everything.
Today on The Bold and the Beautiful (Thursday, October 30, 2025), we got a little wedding planning, a little therapy ethics, and a whole lot of people pretending they are fine when they are absolutely not. Classic.
Hope and Liam plan a wedding... and Beth volunteers herself
We open with Hope and Liam basking in the glow of Brooke handing them the keys to a house as a wedding gift. Casual. Beth is over the moon too, modeling a possible dress for her parents big day and soaking up the buzz.
In private, Hope fills Liam in: she already told Carter about their engagement. Beth overhears just enough to clock that Carter might not be the officiant and immediately asks the obvious: if not Carter, then who?
Then Beth does the most Beth thing and nominates herself to officiate the ceremony. Yes, really. Hope and Liam gently explain that she can’t actually marry them, but she’s determined. It’s adorable, if wildly impractical.
Carter’s chill about the engagement... and flirts with Daphne
Carter lets Daphne know that Hope personally told him she and Liam are engaged. She’s heard the rumblings already and asks how he feels about it. Short version: he’s genuinely happy for them and looking ahead to his own next chapter.
Then Carter goes for a sweet little cheek kiss. Daphne hesitates. He doesn’t take it personally and makes it clear he’s willing to earn that moment. Smooth, but not pushy. Not a bad look for him.
Taylor draws a hard line with Deacon
Sheila’s at home wondering where Deacon disappeared to, not realizing he’s in Taylor’s office. Taylor makes it crystal clear: this is not a therapy session; this is about them and the boundary they blew past before. She calls their past behavior inappropriate and says it cannot happen again. Deacon admits he thinks about those moments too, but he agrees they need to stop it before it starts.
Sheila crowdsources marriage advice (from Li, of all people)
Sheila texts Deacon asking him to come back. Meanwhile, at a restaurant, Li checks on her and gives blunt, useful advice on keeping the marriage from imploding. Patience, do not undo the progress, keep working at being better. Li also points out the uncomfortable truth: Taylor’s influence over Deacon is huge right now, so Sheila’s future with him kind of depends on what Taylor gets through to him.
Back at Taylor’s office, Taylor encourages Deacon to let go of Sheila’s past screwups and focus on healing. She also states, for the record, that there is nothing going on between her and Deacon beyond professional lines. Boundaries: firmly reinstalled.
Apologies, a fragile truce... and one lingering hug
At the apartment, Sheila apologizes to Deacon for lying about Luna and betraying him. He admits he could barely stand to be around her after that, but he also says everyone makes mistakes. He’s still hurt, yet he wants to try and keep the marriage alive.
Sheila hugs him, clocking that Taylor clearly nudged him back in her direction. It works for now, but over at the office, Taylor can’t quite shake the memory of that hug with Deacon. Boundary set, feelings unresolved. Welcome to Thursday in Los Angeles.
