Blue Ridge Season 2: Is It Coming Back This Year?
Blue Ridge is one of those crime shows that quietly built a fanbase by doing what prestige TV no longer bothers with: keeping it simple, rural, and full of bad blood.
No superheroes, no robots — just backwoods grudges, slow-burning feuds, and the occasional hostage situation.

According to showrunner Gary Wheeler, editing is almost done. In his words:
"So here I am on the set of Blue Ridge, and we're about this close to finished with the editing of Season 2 and it's really exciting."
That was weeks ago. So yes, the new season is coming — but the official release date is still "check back later."
What's the draw?
The show first aired on Prime Video and the Cowboy Way Channel, pulling in solid viewership despite being neither a Prime Original nor exclusive. Wheeler even thanked fans for pushing it into Prime's Top Ten, saying:
"I think we are the only non-original, non-exclusive in the Top Ten... we've been blown away."
Not bad for a spinoff of a 2020 TV movie no one expected to survive.
