But after 13 seasons and with a massive cast of characters, it’s sometimes hard to figure out that family tree. Here’s the full list of the Reagan family and their role in the NYPD.

The Patriarchs:

Henry Reagan

Played by Len Cariou (Into the Storm), Henry is the head of both his family and the NYPD. Now retired, he was once the Police Commissioner of New York City and father to Frank. His wife, Betty, died before the show’s events. He also lost his son, Peter, to leukemia as a child.

Frank Reagan

Frank took over from Henry as both patriarch to the Reagans and as NYC Police Commissioner. Also like his father, he’s lost a son - Joseph was a detective who was killed in the line of duty.His surviving children are Daniel, Erin, and Jameson. Frank is played by star actor Tom Selleck.

The Children:

Danny and Linda Reagan

One of the stars of the ensemble cast, Danny is a detective with the NYPD’s 54th Precinct in the Major Case Squad. His wife, Linda, died in a helicopter crash off-screen in 2017 thanks to cartel member Louis Delgado. His two young sons are Jack and Sean. He is played by Donnie Wahlberg.

Joe Reagan

Joe Reagan worked in the 12th precinct, working Warrants. He has a child, Joseph, with an old girlfriend, Pamela. Joe was killed by the Blue Templar in the line of duty 15 months before the start of the show. He was posthumously promoted from Detective 3rd Grade to 1st Grade.

Jamie and Eddie Reagan

The youngest child of Frank, Jamie is often considered the “favorite son.” A field intelligence Sergeant, he is married to fellow officer Edit Janko-Reagan. “Eddie” and Jamie first met while they were partners in the 12th precinct. Her father, Armin Janko, is an ex-con.

Erin Reagan

While she doesn’t work with the NYPD, Frank’s only daughter still serves her city. She works in the District Attorney’s office as Bureau Chief of the Trial Bureau. She is divorced, having a child (Nicky) with Defense Attorney Jack Boyle.

The Grandchildren:

Nicky Reagan-Boyle

Nicky is the daughter of Erin. Exceptionally close with her grandfather, Frank, she aspires to be the first woman of the Reagan family to become a police officer.

Jack and Sean Reagan

The children of Danny and Linda, Jack and Sean are played by real-life brothers Tony and Andrew Terraciano. Both were multi-sport athletes at their private Catholic school. Sean has once said that he aspires to be a firefighter.

Joe Hill

Joe is the only son of Joe Reagan, first introduced in Season 10. He followed in the footsteps of his late father, working as a detective with the NYPD.
