After a hush-hush hiatus, the all-knowing eye is back—sharper, wider, and impossible to escape, promising unprecedented reach while reigniting the fight over power, privacy, and who gets to watch whom.

Big Brother is doing the thing it does best: opening the doors, locking in a fresh batch of strangers, and letting the chaos play out on ITV2. If you like social experiments with a side of mischief, clear your Sunday night.

The basics

  • Premiere: Sunday 28 September 2025 at 9pm
  • Where to watch: ITV2 and ITVX
  • Schedule: New episodes Sunday through Friday
  • Hosts: AJ Odudu and Will Best return to kick off Big Brother: Live Launch and steer the nightly circus
  • Trailer: None yet
  • Logo refresh: The classic Big Brother eye is back, now surrounded by a bunch of smaller eyes rolling around and peering in every direction

So who is moving in?

We will find out when the doors open. Casting stays under wraps until launch night, as per tradition. AJ and Will are not spilling anything about who made the cut, but they are clear about what they want from the lineup: a real cross-section of the country. Think a wide spread of ages, backgrounds, political views, and gender identities. In other words, not 12 near-identical aspiring influencers and a dream board.

'I want people to go in there and be their authentic selves from day one.'

That is AJ on the vibe they are hoping for. She also says she is going in with no expectations beyond seeing a genuinely diverse group. Will echoes that, talking up representation across age, background, and political opinion. If they get anywhere close to that, the conversations inside the house should be interesting for once, not just the tasks.

What to expect inside

Big Brother is promising plenty of chaos. Translation: tasks, twists, and the kind of producer meddling that turns breakfast into a cold war. The Live Launch will drop the housemates in and let the games begin. From there, it is the usual pressure cooker, five nights a week.

About that new eye

ITV has already shown off the updated logo: the classic Big Brother eye, now flanked by lots of little eyes darting around. It is playful, a bit weird, and very on-brand for a show that loves the idea of everyone watching everyone else.

Trailer status

There is no trailer yet. When ITV drops one, you will know. Until then, pencil in the date and prepare for the return of TV’s longest-running trust fall.
