BFF Goals: Rosalia and Kaia Gerber Support Lisa at Crazy Horse Show
Despite their busy schedules, the two celebrities were eager to support their friend.
As you walk down the Avenue George V in Paris towards the Seine, you will see a fascinating establishment on your left with a sign that reads 'Le Crazy Horse de Paris'. This famous cabaret has been around for over 70 years and has hosted some of the biggest names in burlesque such as Dita Von Teese, as well as actresses and models such as Pamela Anderson and Carmen Electra.
But as the years go by, the generations change, and with them the idols: we now live in an era where Korean pop culture, and specifically K-pop, rules the world. From now on, the biggest name in the history of Crazy Horse was singer and rapper Lisa, because despite the backlash of some fans, there were more than 50,000 people willing to attend her performance. Even Rosalía and Kaia Gerber themselves supported her in response to all the criticism. True BFFs!
Lisa Joining Crazy Horse Paris
Famous Thai singer and rapper, member of the South Korean girl group Blackpink, Lisa surprised everyone with five exclusive cabaret performances at Crazy Horse Paris from September 28 to 30.
Despite this, K-Netz still provided a certain level of bigotry by comparing Lisa's upcoming cabaret performances to striptease. Fortunately, this was only a small part of the K-pop side of the internet, as many fans and even celebrities expressed their support.
Rosalia and Gerber — What Better Support Could There Be?
Many celebrities (including Blackpink's Jisoo and Rosé) came to support Lisa, especially her two close friends, Spanish singer-songwriter Rosalía and American model Kaia Gerber. Their friendship has long been in the public eye, as Lisa has often been spotted with them in LA or on social media.
Notably, both Rosalía and Gerber are attending Paris Fashion Week 2023, and as fans at the cabaret noted, the former was late but still carried herself to support her friend.
'Yep she came in a rush and tried to enter discretely without making any noise (and she did not make any noise I just have sharp eyes),' a fan said.
Gerber was accompanied by her partner, American actor Austin Butler.
There were over 50,000 people who wanted to buy a ticket - that's enough to fill a stadium! People love Lisa, her authenticity and the fact that the singer is not afraid to experiment and overcome misogynistic stereotypes and prejudices.
'This girl was never afraid of attenuating her crafts and artistry, she always gets out of her comfort zone and do something new, she is running her own league, oh phenomenal,' another fan praised her.
