1. The Leftovers, 2014-2017

The project tells the story of life in a fictional city three years after the unexplained disappearance of 2% of the planet's population – 140 million people.

The Leftovers explores how such an event can affect society, especially religion and the emergence of cults that interpret the events in different ways.

Margaret played a sullen teenager, the daughter of the local police chief, whose mother left the family to join a cult whose members honor the memory of the event and take a vow of silence.

2. My Salinger Year, 2020

The movie follows an aspiring poet (Margaret Qualley) who moves to New York in the 1990s and finds a job as a secretary at a literary agency whose client is Jerome Salinger.

The girl is busy reading fan letters to the writer, to which he has not responded for many years. So Margaret's character has to type and send a formal reply every day.

As time goes on, she finds it increasingly difficult to distance herself from the fan letters, and she begins to give personal advice while getting to know New York's literary elite.

3. Maid, 2021

In the middle of the night, a young mother, Alex (Margaret Qualley), flees her drunken husband with her daughter in her arms. Without money, education or shelter, she is forced to find any kind of work to feed her baby.

Alex finds a job as a house cleaner, but even there she faces many problems. An arrogant rich woman refuses to pay her, and her daughter gets sick from mold in the only available apartment. Every day, life throws Alex new challenges that she must respond to.

4. Poor Things, 2023

Surgeon Godwin discovers the lifeless body of a young woman. Her heart has stopped, but the life of an unborn child is still beating inside her. The doctor is faced with a moral dilemma: return her to the suffering of her suicide attempt, or perform a risky experiment.

Godwin decides to remove the child's brain and transplant it into the woman. The operation is successful, and Bella begins to explore the world, learning to walk and talk.

As Godwin's perfect creation travels the world, he decides to create a second version. Margaret Qualley's character turns out to be significantly less developed and inferior in abilities to the original Bella.
