An unhappy woman finds a part-time job in another dimension, and best friends go to summer camp, but end up in an unusual place inhabited by witches and werewolves.

Growing up does not mean giving up animation. The modern industry offers projects for every taste: philosophical, fantasy, dark, funny and many others.

We have chosen animated series that are worth watching and will definitely not leave you indifferent.

1. Summer Camp Island, 2018-2023

Baby elephant Oscar and his best friend Hedgehog are spending their summer vacation at a camp on an island. But this camp is unusual. The counselors turn out to be witches, the island's inhabitants are creatures they have only read about in books, and all the objects can talk.

Hedgehog is happy that she can finally get away from her overprotective parents and be herself. And Oscar misses home, reflects on his and Hedgehog's friendship, and learns to be an adult.

2. We Bare Bears, 2014-2019

The animated series tells the story of three half-brother bears living in San Francisco. Grizzly, named Grizz, is the most outgoing. Panda Pan Pan is sentimental and sensitive. The unemotional Lil Bro prefers to act, keeping a cool head even in the most stressful situations.

In the present, the bears live carefree lives, but in childhood they had to overcome many difficulties and even separation.

3. Wolfboy and the Everything Factory, 2021-2022

William Wolfe, a boy with an active imagination, has no friends – except his mother. She sends him to a private school where she hopes he will socialize and make friends.

But his new classmates make fun of him. Upset, William runs off campus – into the woods. There he sees a cloud with eyes that bursts into a rainbow, and two unusual creatures – a boy and a girl – who jump into a mysterious portal in a tree stump before William's eyes.

The boy follows them and finds himself in a magical factory where literally everything in the world is made. Perhaps this is where William will finally find his place.

4. Bee and PuppyCat, 2013-2018

Bee is a young woman who considers herself a loser. She has no education or special skills, and she keeps getting fired from her job.

After being fired again, Bee returns home upset. While standing at a traffic light, an unusual but very cute creature falls on her from above – it looks like a cat and a puppy at the same time.

The woman decides to take it home with her. It turns out that the creature can help Bee – thanks to it, she gets a job in another dimension and learns that she actually has many different talents.

5. Hilda, 2018-2023

Hilda, a curious girl, lives in a house in the forest with her mother. She has an amazing life full of adventures: she spends her days running around the forest and communicating with its magical inhabitants.

The only trouble is the mysterious invisible people who leave threatening notes for her and her mother. Mom takes the threats seriously and decides that they must move to the nearby town of Trolberg.

There Hilda will go to school and finally find friends among people. Hilda is reluctant at first, but then she realizes that moving is not a bad idea. After all, a true adventurer will find something to do in the town.
