Beauty in Black is officially lining up its next act: Netflix has locked the release window and episode count for Season 2 Part 2, following the show’s 2024 debut and a rapid 2025 rollout—March for the back half of Season 1 and September for the first half of Season 2.

If you have been waiting on the back half of Beauty in Black Season 2, we finally have a real window. And yes, it is coming with a full batch of episodes.

So when is Season 2 Part 2?

Richard Lawson, who plays Norman, told a fan on Instagram that the remaining episodes of Season 2 are slated for early 2026. He kept it simple:

"There are eight more episodes in season two. They will come in February or March."

The eight-episode count had already been locked in to match the previous parts, but Lawson narrowing the timing to February or March is the clearest target yet.

How we got here

  • The series premiered on Netflix on October 24, 2024.
  • Season 1 Part 2 dropped on March 6, 2025.
  • Season 2 Part 1 arrived on September 11, 2025.
  • Season 2 Part 2 is now aiming for February or March 2026, with eight more episodes.

A very Tyler Perry production schedule

Here is a little inside baseball: Taylor Polidore Williams, who plays Kimmie, told TVLine that Tyler Perry and his team shot all 16 episodes of Season 2 in 12 days. She described getting scripts as he finished them, sometimes multiple episodes overnight, and basically trying to keep up. It is wild, but also very on brand for Perry, who moves at a speed that makes most TV sets look like they are in slow motion.

Quick refresher on the show

The plot follows two women on opposite ends of the financial and emotional spectrum: one is an exotic dancer trying to get by, the other is a wealthy business owner stuck in a loveless marriage. Their paths collide, and everything starts to shift.

Cast-wise, along with Lawson as Norman, you have Taylor Polidore Williams as Kimmie, Crystle Stewart as Mallory, Ricco Ross as Horace Bellarie, Amber Reign Smith as Rain, and Xavier Smalls as Angel. Tyler Perry created the series and directs the episodes.

Bottom line: expect eight more episodes to close out Season 2 in early 2026. If the production pace is any sign, they are already in the can and just waiting for Netflix to hit publish.
