Beat the Spoilers: Where to Watch the Avengers: Doomsday Trailer First
Marvel’s Avengers: Doomsday trailer rollout just got an update — here’s how to catch it before spoilers flood your feed. Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, the film is in post and set to hit U.S. theaters a little over a year from now, with Avengers: Secret Wars arriving in December 2027.
If you have been waiting to see the first Avengers: Doomsday footage, here is where things actually stand and how you can catch it early without getting it ruined by blurry phone videos.
Where the teaser is (and is not)
Marvel Studios has Avengers: Doomsday in post right now, with Joe and Anthony Russo back in the big chairs. The plan has always been to roll the first teaser out with Avatar: Fire and Ash, and that is still the play. Earlier this week, fans convinced themselves it might drop online today, Thursday, December 11, 2025, after the Korean Media Rating Board posted a listing that pegged the teaser at 1 minute and 25 seconds. That listing is real, but it does not mean an immediate online launch.
Per scooper Daniel Richtman, do not expect the trailer to hit the internet today — or next week either. The more encouraging update comes from insider Cryptic HD QUALITY, who says the teaser will be attached to advanced screenings of Avatar: Fire and Ash.
"You are among the first to see it publicly. We can only hope for an online release Christmas week."
Translation: if you want to see it clean and not via potato-cam, you will want to grab a ticket to an early showing of James Cameron's movie. Once Fire and Ash opens wide, expect the usual wave of low-quality leaks to flood your feed. Avatar: Fire and Ash officially hits U.S. theaters on December 19, 2025.
Dates and details you actually need
- Avatar: Fire and Ash — U.S. theatrical release on December 19, 2025; teaser for Avengers: Doomsday is expected to play with advanced screenings.
- Avengers: Doomsday — in post-production; directed by Joe and Anthony Russo; part of MCU Phase 6; U.S. theatrical release on December 18, 2026.
- Avengers: Secret Wars — also directed by the Russos; dated for December 17, 2027.
- That Korean Media Rating Board listing — trailer runtime logged at 1:25 — explains the sudden rumor flare-up, but it is not a signal for an immediate online drop.
- Online release timing — do not expect it this week or next; a Christmas-week drop is possible, but not guaranteed.
For what it is worth, this is a very Hollywood way to do it: premiere the tease in theaters with another monster release, let word of mouth heat up, then flip the switch online when everyone is home for the holidays. It is not subtle, but it works.
