His home is torched in an attack by the Resources Development Administration (RDA) and a hostile Ash clan, and your job is to pull your people together and survive.

Frontiers launched as a first-person-only game, which some players felt made it less cinematic. Ubisoft fixed that in a title update on December 19, 2025, adding an optional third-person camera. It makes a noticeable difference: you can now actually watch your Na'vi in motion while you throw down.

Combat also reads better in third-person—whether you’re lining up brutal finishers, unloading with firearms, or slipping in for stealthy melee kills. That same update patched a bunch of known bugs, so overall stability and polish are up too.
