At long last, the beloved TV sitcom is reuniting for a milestone anniversary special, bringing the cast back together for a nostalgia-packed celebration and fresh laughs.

Time to make the good couch dents: CBS is reuniting the Everybody Loves Raymond crew for a 30th anniversary special, and yes, it really has been 20 years since the finale. The network teased it back in early October and is now laying out the plan.

When and where to watch

The anniversary special airs Monday, November 24 at 8 PM ET/PT on CBS and streams on Paramount+ at the same time. It runs a full 90 minutes, so settle in.

Who is showing up

  • Ray Romano
  • Patricia Heaton
  • Brad Garrett
  • Madylin Sweeten
  • Sullivan Sweeten
  • Monica Horan

What to expect

This is a proper look back, not just a quick couch chat. Expect never-before-seen outtakes, fresh commentary from the cast, and a tribute to the Barone parents we still quote far too often. Doris Roberts (Marie) passed away on April 17, 2016, and Peter Boyle (Frank) on December 12, 2006; both will be honored during the special.

Speaking of couches: the show has rebuilt the Barone living room from scratch, floral sofa and all. If your TV muscle memory kicks in when you see that thing, you are not alone.

A quick refresher

Everybody Loves Raymond premiered in 1996, ran for nine seasons, and wrapped in 2005. The series started streaming on Peacock and Paramount+ in 2023, which made revisiting the Barones way too easy.

The extra nerdy detail

The special is produced by Fulwell 73, the team behind the Friends reunion. Also, yes, 1996 plus 30 lands in 2026, so consider this an early victory lap. No complaints here.
