Two of the most popular TV actors right now are undoubtedly Stranger Things star David Harbour, and the internet's most recent obsession, Pedro Pascal from The Mandalorian and The Last of Us.

As well as being two much-loved personalities, who are clearly in their prime, fans have recently been speculating whether they are actually friends in real life as well. Fortunately, we finally have an answer to that very question.

The big reveal of the Harbour's and Pascal's true bromance

During a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight at CinemaCon, Harbour officially confirmed that he and Pascal are close friends and even mentioned their shared existence in 'The Daddy-verse'.

Harbour charmingly even expressed his admiration for Pascal's recent work on The Last of Us, in which Pascal plays Joel Miller, a survivor of a post-apocalyptic world overrun by infected humans. Harbour praised Pascal's performance as 'Infected-killer-in-chief', as well as expressing his love for the show in general.

How the Harbour and Pascal became close friends

It's not unsurprising that the two actors get on so well, considering they have so much in common. Having both starred in popular sci-fi and fantasy franchises, Harbour gained fame for his role as Jim Hopper in the Netflix hit series Stranger Things and as the Red Guardian in MCU's Black Widow. On the other hand, Pascal gained worldwide recognition for his portrayal in the Mandalorian series on Disney+. Although they are yet to appear in anything alongside each other, they likely run into each other quite often, promoting their various popular projects.

What's next for two actors

Harbour did not go on to elaborate much more about their close relationship. However, as both are well connected to Marvel-Disney projects, maybe we'll get to see more of their budding friendship on screen at some point. As for their presence in the Daddy-verse, Harbour and Pascal seem to have found a way to enter this exclusive realm and enjoy their status as beloved 'Daddies' of Hollywood.

Harbor's next role will be in Gran Turismo, which, like The Last of Us, is also based on a popular video game franchise. Additionally, Harbour hinted at his involvement in the upcoming Marvel film Thunderbolts, which will see him return to his character of Red Guardian.

As for Pascal, he has confirmed he will be returning for further seasons of The Mandalorian and The Last of Us. It was also recently revealed he is set to play an unknown role in Ridley Scott's forthcoming Gladiator sequel, due for release in 2024.

It is clear that David Harbour and Pedro Pascal are indeed very close friends. Fans of the two actors can rest easy knowing that their favorite stars are not only talented performers, but also genuine friends who are happy to support each other's work.
