In the run-up to Bridgerton Season 3, which will tell the love story of Colin Bridgerton and Penelope Featherington, it has become popular in fan discussions to remember the misdeeds these two characters have done to each other and the ton.

It is especially popular to judge Penelope for ruining people's lives while writing the infamous Lady Whistledown gossip column. But in fact, other Bridgerton characters have committed no less wrongdoing, which viewers do not call out enough.

Recently, fans took to Reddit to discuss such mistakes, and it turns out that there is a lot to judge the Bridgerton characters for. Here are just some examples.

The first name fans remembered was George Crane.

We never see him in the show, but his and Marina's story is heartbreaking. They fell in love and had sex before he went to war and died. Marina then got pregnant, and the rest was shown in Season 1.

While many viewers criticize Penelope for blowing the whistle on Marina's pregnancy and ruining her reputation, there are those who think that the guilty party there was George because he was the older one in the relationship, and it was very irresponsible of him to get involved with Marina the way he did.

Fans also judge Eloise Bridgerton for her treatment of the servants.

Eloise is young, naive, and privileged. In her search for excitement, she often puts the servants in a bad position. Either by snooping in the housekeeper's room, or by getting a footman or maid to take her where she shouldn't go, she puts their jobs at risk. Fans feel Eloise gets the sexism, but not yet the classism.

The most controversial issue is the sexual relationship between Daphne Bridgerton and Simon Basset.

First of all, many fans blame Lady Violet for not teaching her daughters about sex. Daphne was lucky to have the experienced and attentive Simon as her first partner.

Their marriage began with some steamy scenes, but then Daphne learned that Simon was using tricks to avoid having a baby, and basically assaulted him to get pregnant. This fact is often glossed over by the fandom because of Daphne's naivete, but some viewers feel that the couple could not be happy after what Daphne did.

It seems that even the most lovable of the Bridgerton characters have a few things to answer for. But doesn't that make them more realistic and believable?
