This fresh couple is sexy and fun, and fans respect that.

For the first time since the very first season, Grey's Anatomy has introduced a completely new cast with Season 19's fresh-faced, ambitious interns with their own stories to tell.

The new season kicked off with a series of events that felt very similar to a storyline that took place in the very first season: an intern meets a guy at a bar and ends up sleeping with him, only to find out that he works at the same hospital she's starting her internship at.

Jules Millin's hookup with Dr. Atticus Link may sound very similar to the chaotic start to Meredith and Derek's iconic love story, but that's where it ends because Jules then changes the narrative and hooks up with a fellow intern.

Things came to heat between her and Benson 'Blue' Kwan during the third episode of the season where they slept together for the first time, and have had a continuing storyline since.

As usual, fans have plenty to say about the new pairing. Redditor AprilShowers97 said, 'I like them as a couple; the chemistry is good and they share a sense of humor.'

Their relationship may be relatively sweet and steady, but Grey's Anatomy has a habit of not just killing off characters, but killing off romances too, but one actor thinks they will go the distance.

Harry Shum Jr., who plays the sharp-witted, gifted, and competitive Blue, gave his take on the pair's situation, and it turns out, he's in it for the long run.

Shum Jr. said that them working out, 'depends on their work schedule and also where they're at in their life. What I will say is that the show does make it very complicated for them to have an endgame.'

Their sweet connection was deepened even further when Jules was tasked with taking care of Blue after he suffered a concussion.

Shum Jr. feels like Blue is all for Jules, saying in an interview, 'Right now, Jules and forever.'

Blue and Jules have certainly received a positive response from fans. Bleuangel88 took to Twitter saying they, 'Love Blue and Jules. They're just sexy and fun, and I respect that.' And ReadWatchMunch was, 'Just SWOOOOONING over how casual and coupley Blue and Jules looked at Joe's.'

Fans are wary of 'endgame' predictions so early on in the season, but as Jules and Blue's relationship progresses, it's hard not to get attached and hope that things work out for the best the same way Harry Shum Jr. does.

The next episode of Grey's will premiere on Netflix and Hulu on April 13, 2023.
