ARC Raiders: The One Craft To Supercharge Your Stash Before Every Expedition
The Expedition clock is ticking in ARC Raiders: the launch window opens December 17, 2025 and slams shut December 22. Scavenge what you need to build that Caravan now, because one make-or-break requirement will determine whether your Raider actually lifts off.
If you are gearing up for ARC Raiders' Expedition, the clock is about to start. The window opens December 17, 2025 and runs through December 22, 2025. You can scrape together the parts to build that Caravan, but the real gatekeeper is money: you need 5,000,000 Credits or a Stash with the same value to actually launch and send your Raider. Grinding that out the old-fashioned way is a slog, so here is a smarter route that the community surfaced — and no, it is not a cheesy exploit.
The quick cash play: craft and flip Energy Clips
X user @TheRooster pointed out a clean profit loop that is somehow hiding in plain sight. It is simple, repeatable, and relies on the game’s own economy.
- What you craft: Energy Clips (made at a Workbench)
- Recipe per craft: 1x Advanced ARC Powercell + 2x Battery
- Where to get stuff:
- Advanced ARC Powercell: rare drop from ARC enemies like Sentinel, Bombardier, Bastion, etc.
- Battery: uncommon; find via scavenging or recycling, or just buy from Celeste - If you sell the ingredients as-is: you get 1,140 Credits total
- If you craft instead: you receive a bundle of 5 Energy Clips
- Sell price: each Energy Clip goes for 1,000 Credits, so 5 clips = 5,000 Credits
- Your net: 5,000 - 1,140 = 3,860 Credits profit per craft
- Rinse, repeat, watch your balance sprint toward that 5 million target
Wait, isn’t most crafting a loss?
You are not imagining things. Players have been wary about reselling crafted gear because a community-made spreadsheet crunched the numbers and found that almost everything loses value once you combine ingredients. The curveball: Energy Clips buck the trend. A lot of folks assume Clips are a dud because the visible sell price is only 1,000 Credits — but the crafted output is a set of five. That is the twist that turns this into one of the few actually profitable crafts right now.
Why this works (and why it is fine to use)
This is not a glitch or an exploit; it is just the economy doing weird videogame math. You are converting a rare cell and two batteries into a higher-value, guaranteed sell-through item with low risk. If you need to stockpile funds fast to cover that 5,000,000 Credits or equivalent Stash requirement for the Expedition window, this is a low-friction way to do it without living at the grind wall.
Got a better flip?
If you have found any other profitable crafts that do not tank your margins, drop them in the comments. Until then, Energy Clips are the safest bet I have seen for getting Raider-ready between December 17 and December 22.
