The revival of Sex and the City, And Just Like That…, continues the story of three Manhattan socialites, Carrie, Miranda, and Charlotte, this time in their 50s. Bohemian life in New York City now includes contemplating age and the meaning of life. But there is still sex, of course.

The second season continues Carrie's story, showing how she copes with grief a year after Mr. Big's death (mostly through sex). Charlotte continues to deal with motherhood, gradually realising that her daughter is growing up and has her own desires. Miranda, meanwhile, finds herself in LA following Che Diaz.

Most importantly, Samantha, who left for London, will be back this season! Kim Cattrall is on board for a return to the show after a long period of creative differences.

However, as the new season hits the screens, the question many fans around the world want to know the answer to is how they can follow the love lives of their favourite characters.

The US

If you're in the US, your best bet is to subscribe to Max (formerly HBO Max) since both Sex and the City and And Just Like That... are specifically owned by HBO.

Following 22 June, when the first two episodes were released, the show is to air regularly on Thursdays at 3 am EST. The season will have eleven episodes.

The UK and Ireland

UK and Ireland residents must subscribe to Sky Comedy to view the series. New episodes air in sync with the US. For streaming, you can subscribe to Sky's Now, which also airs the show.

Canada

In Canada, all you have to do is subscribe to Crave, the service that acquires the rights to all HBO productions. Episodes are also released on Thursdays.

Australia

Australians will need a subscription to the Binge streaming service to watch the series, which, as in other countries, releases each new episode on Thursdays.

An alternative is to subscribe to Foxtel, either the Fox Showcase cable channel or the Foxtel Now streaming service.

Other countries

The HBO policy seems very exclusive, so it may be a little more difficult to watch the show in other countries. However, there is always a solution: you can subscribe to Amazon Prime and get a 7-day free trial of Max or subscribe to Max itself using any available VPN service.

The third episode of And Just Like That... Season 2 will be released on Thursday, 29 June.
