Fans are sending support after American Pickers host Mike Wolfe and his girlfriend were involved in a frightening car crash—here’s what we know about their condition and what happened.

Some personal news from the American Pickers world: Mike Wolfe says he and his girlfriend, Leticia Cline, were in a car crash in Columbia, Tennessee. He shared the update himself, along with photos, so here is what we actually know without the rumor mill.

What happened

Wolfe posted to Instagram Stories that he and Cline were in a car accident in Columbia, TN. He kept specifics about injuries and the cause to a minimum, but emphasized that they made it out alive and are getting care. He added that Cline is still in the hospital, but doctors expect a full recovery.

"Leticia and I were involved in a car accident last evening in Columbia, TN... By the grace of God, we are both safe and okay."

He thanked fans for the support and asked for privacy while they recover, noting they are in good hands medically.

The photo he shared

Wolfe also posted an image of a blue car that looks completely totaled. Given that both he and Cline are avid motorcyclists, some fans immediately wondered if bikes were involved. Based on the photo he posted, this was a car crash.

Quick refresher on Mike, Leticia, and the show

American Pickers launched on History Channel in 2010, with Wolfe and co-hosts crossing the country to dig up forgotten finds. Outside the show, Wolfe runs Antique Archaeology and occasionally gives followers a peek at his life on social. He and Leticia Cline went public in August 2021 after his marriage to Jodi Faeth ended. Cline has worked as a journalist and model.

Where the series stands

Season 27 wrapped back in August, and the show is now on a break — apparently its first pause since the series premiered. History has not announced a Season 28 date yet. Inside baseball, but a first-ever break after 27 seasons is notable timing.

  • Incident: Car accident in Columbia, TN

  • Evidence: Wolfe shared a photo of a totaled blue car
