Alexandra Daddario’s Mayfair Witches is conjuring up Season 2 on Netflix in the U.S., extending AMC’s licensing rollout on the streamer.

If you have been waiting for Mayfair Witches to circle back to Netflix, there is finally a date. Plus, AMC is busy expanding this universe, so there is more on the way than just a rewatch.

When it hits Netflix (US)

Mayfair Witches Season 2 lands on Netflix in the United States on December 2, 2025. All eight episodes already aired on AMC between January and March 2025 (per What's on Netflix), so this is the streaming catch-up window rather than anything new for US viewers.

Where this fits in the Anne Rice world

The show sits in Anne Rice's connected "Immortal" universe and centers on Rowan Fielding (Alexandra Daddario), who discovers she's the heir to the Mayfair dynasty. Season 2 widens the cast with Alyssa Jirrels, Ben Feldman, Ted Levine, and Mariana A. Novak. If you got in via Netflix: Season 1 showed up there in August 2024 thanks to the AMC-Netflix licensing deal, and Netflix pushed it to select international regions the following month.

The licensing deal and the slow global drip

That AMC-Netflix agreement is the reason you are seeing Mayfair Witches on Netflix at all. The renewed deal also brings extra seasons of existing shows and tosses in new licensed titles like Orphan Black, Echoes, and This Is Going to Hurt. As for Mayfair Witches Season 2 outside the US: more territories are expected to get it after Netflix US, with the UK penciled in for March 2026. Yes, that staggered rollout is a wait.

The broader "Immortal" plans

Netflix will start rolling out Talamasca: The Secret Order in international regions in December 2025, with the US getting it later. So the Rice-verse is not slowing down; it is branching out while the main shows keep rotating between AMC and Netflix windows.

Season 3 status

AMC has already renewed Mayfair Witches for Season 3 and restarted production in Vancouver. Filming is slated to wrap on February 11, 2026. Story-wise, the new season digs deeper into witchcraft mythology, introduces new "spellbound" families, and even folds in historical events from Salem, Massachusetts. James Frain and Eliza Scanlen have joined the cast, and Thomas Schnauz is showrunning alongside Esta Spalding. AMC has not put a release window on Season 3 yet. On the Netflix side, availability will depend on the licensing setup, which currently covers Seasons 1 and 2 through December 2, 2026.
