AHS: Delicate Ultimate 'What Ifs' – These Castings Could Save This Season

Although it's been over two months since season 12 of FX's hit anthology series American Horror Story began airing, it has yet to gain enough traction with the show's large fandom. Aside from the mediocre plot that this installment explores, viewers aren't buying the actors' performances, claiming that the casting is off-point. Naturally, many would like to see other AHS stars star in Delicate.

Here are our top four casting suggestions that would have saved Season 12 from embarrassment.

Lily Rabe as Anna Alcott

The AHS star made her debut in the show's first season as Nora Montgomery, the previous owner of the Murder House for which the episode is named. Over the years, the actress has appeared in nine seasons of American Horror Story, winning over a wide audience with her immense talent.

As for her potential performance as Anna in Delicate, Lily would have been able to deliver a more mature version of the character. As a result, the woman's anxiety over her pregnancy would have been more convincing.

Evan Peters as Dex Harding

Another veteran actor on AHS, Evan is the ultimate fan favorite, having appeared in nine of the show's twelve seasons. He is considered by the audience to be one of the faces of the FX series, which is perhaps why viewers are eager to see him in any role and capacity on American Horror Story.

While Matt Czuchry does a wonderful job as Anna's husband, Delicate marks his debut on the anthology series, making him a stranger to AHS fans.

Sarah Paulson as Siobhan Corbyn

Just like the previous actor, Sarah Paulson is the most beloved actress AHS has ever seen. She's also appeared in nine seasons of the show, winning over hordes of fans along the way. Ultimately, there's no actor that fans of the show are more excited to see in new installments than Sarah.

Having portrayed a number of dark characters on AHS, the actress has proven her ability to play sinister and menacing ladies, making her perfect for the role of Anna's best friend. Just thinking about Paulson as Siobhan gives me chills!

Kathy Bates as Ms. Preecher

The legendary actress has been a jewel on the facade of American Horror Story for five seasons of its run. During her tenure on the show, Kathy Bates has portrayed a variety of characters and has become immensely popular with AHS fans. For this reason, she would have been most welcome to play this episode's most mysterious character. After all, Bates has enough charisma for the role.
