A Love Arc for Two Main Characters
Ted will be Rebecca's Knight in Shining Armor. Viewers notice that the characters have been very affectionate with each other lately. It seems unlikely now that Ted is going back to Kansas.

Trent Crimm, who's writing a book about AFC Richmond, will not out Colin. Instead, the ex-journalist will help him come out on his own terms. The book Trent is writing will be a book about the people that make up the team, featuring the club's stories told from their perspectives.
Fruitful Friendship
Roy Kent and Jamie Tartt will bond deeply. Roy will help Jamie improve as a player and a leader, which will result in Jamie taking over the team from Zava, who is in no way a team player. Thanks to Tartt, Roy will find his way back to Keeley as they are destined to be together.
The Place Is Found
Colin will have his own happy ending. After coming out, he will be set free of his insecurities and able to find his place among the team members. Moreover, his story will reach its culmination as he will finally learn to drive his green Lamborghini.
Come and Go
Zava won't be able to adjust to AFC Richmond. He will get injured, which will open doors for both him and Jamie. While Jamie will step up as the team's new leader, making it more united than ever, Zava will be excused from further trying to prove his worth to the world. He'll retire and find his peace.
