After a Messy 2015 Divorce, Here's What Jeremy Renner's Ex-Wife Has Been Up To

Jeremy Renner was a critically acclaimed and beloved actor long before his involvement in the MCU, but he only became a true superstar in 2012 when he debuted as Hawkeye in Avengers.

And it seems that at the time, Renner was having a good time not only professionally but also personally, with the birth of his daughter in 2013 and his marriage to Canadian model Sonni Pacheco in 2014.

Unfortunately, his perfect life fell apart very soon, as he divorced just a year later, in 2015. And it was certainly an unpleasant break-up.

Both Pacheco and Renner filed for ‘irreconcilable differences’ and demanded full custody of their then two-year-old daughter Ava – Renner ended up getting partial custody and had to pay Pacheco $13,000 a month in child support. That may have been the end of it, but it was only the beginning.

A short time later, Renner accused Pacheco of misusing nearly $50,000 from Ava's trust because the money had been transferred to her personal bank accounts. She responded by accusing Renner of threatening her and her child, which led to a public and messy argument between them.

Fortunately, it looks like this whole thing is finally over and Renner (who is still recovering from a horrific snowplow accident this January) and Pacheco can enjoy their personal lives. Sonni is certainly having a good time, working as a realtor and sculptor in Los Angeles.

She is currently dating NFL player Nathan Thompson and it is believed that the pair began dating back in 2021.

Earlier this year, Pacheco revealed that she and Thompson were expecting a child, much to the delight of Thompson's fans. Like her ex-husband, Pacheco has kept a low profile in her personal life, disclosing minimal information about her romantic endeavors. Fans of the actor are hoping that the whole messy divorce hasn't affected Ava that much and that Renner and Pacheco will get over their differences in the future.
