A Gatherer’s Adventure in Isekai Episode 2 Drops Soon: Release Time, Countdown, and Where to Watch

Overpowered and blissfully naive, Takeru’s easy-mode start is about to hit hard mode as A Gatherer’s Adventure in Isekai episode 2 lands October 6–7 depending on your time zone. After breezing through the premiere with absurd mana, he now faces real stakes that could upend his comfortable new life.
Episode 1 of 'A Gatherer's Adventure in Isekai' was a breezy intro to an overpowered everyman tossed into a new world. Episode 2 lands next week, and yes, the show is already moving faster than most isekai intros. If you like watching a guy accidentally break a fantasy economy just by existing, this one might be your jam.

Where to watch
The series (from Tatsunoko Production and SynergySP) is streaming on Crunchyroll, with new episodes simulstreamed across North America, Central and South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and CIS. In Japan, it airs on Tokyo MX and BS11. Muse Asia is also putting up new episodes on YouTube in supported regions.
It is already charting
Despite only one episode out, it is gaining traction: as of October 4, 2025, FlixPatrol has 'A Gatherer's Adventure in Isekai' sitting at No. 4 on Crunchyroll's Top 10 in the United States. Not bad for a show about a guy who forages so hard he meets a dragon.
Previously on Episode 1
Takeru, a regular salaryman, gets yanked in by a God and dispatched to a collapsing fantasy world with absurd mana reserves and boosted scouting/search skills. He wakes up in a village, gathers some resources, sells them for a surprisingly nice payout, and immediately gets sent on a task.
That errand escalates into him stumbling across the Ancient Dragon Voldius. Thanks to Takeru's ridiculous power level, Voldius' hatchling awakens on the spot. The big guy is impressed, hands over a stash of mithril ore like it is no big deal, and basically says: take the baby with you. The hatchling imprints on Takeru, he gives the kid a name, and boom — new party member acquired, new adventure unlocked.
What Episode 2 is likely setting up
The next episode looks like it keeps the pace up. Expect Takeru to test the market with that mithril haul and probably make bank — but flashing rare ore this early tends to paint a target on your back. If he sells it as-is, his identity (or at least his abnormal capabilities) could get attention from the wrong people.
Also on deck: the 'cute partner' Takeru wished for feels imminent. The show has dropped enough hints that this companion might be more chaos gremlin than mascot. Either way, it fits the show's vibe so far: light on angst, heavy on the 'whoops, I broke the difficulty curve' tone.
