8 Yet-Unseen Bridgerton Characters We're Dying to Meet
We've fallen in love with them in the books, but will they be brought to life on screen?
Bridgerton season 3 is approaching, and it's not just Colin and Penelope's romance that we are eager to witness, although that is a big part of the excitement.
So far, we have been introduced to a variety of characters from Julia Quinn's Bridgerton novels, and we're hoping to see more new faces in the future, including:
8. Sophie Beckett
Sophie makes her first appearance in the 3rd book, and because season 3 follows the fourth book, the chances of her character being introduced are high. In a Cinderella-type moment, Benedict and Sophie meet at a masked ball, only for her to disappear right after.
7. Oliver Crane
Marina Thompson had a substantial role in season 2, as did her pregnancy with the twins that stirred up quite the scandal in the Ton. Now, we want to see more of her children, Oliver and Amanda Crane.
6. Amanda Crane
Amanda and her twin brother Oliver are mischievous. We would love to see their antics, get to know their characters and watch them build a relationship with Eloise, who becomes involved with Sir Phillip Crane.
5. Michael Stirling
Michael could be described as one of the most peculiar characters in Bridgerton, because of his outlook on life and his devotion to Francesca Bridgerton. His story involves themes not yet tackled on the Netflix series, and gives us all the more reason to want to see him and his story brought to life.
4. Hermione Watson
Hermione Watson is introduced in the 8th Bridgerton novel, and has the youngest Bridgerton sibling, Gregory, besotted with her beauty. Although Hermione is not the one Gregory ends up with, her character plays a crucial role in his story.
3. Gareth St. Clair
Lady Danbury's son Gareth is a complex character with an interesting past. He is introduced in the 7th novel with a story that involves not only love, but family drama and a pursuit of the truth as he struggles with his relationship with his father and questions their blood relations.
2. Isabella Marinzoli St. Clair
As Gareth St. Clair's paternal grandmother, Isabella plays a crucial role in his family, and his finding out the truth. Whilst she dies long before Gareth and Hyacinth meet, her diary plays a big part in the 7th novel. Her character could be brought to life in flashbacks, which would make the story even more interesting and emotional.
1. Lucy Abernathy
The love story between Gregory and Lucy Abernathy takes place in the 8th novel, and is undoubtedly one of the most dramatic and eventful. Not only do we hope to see this story play out in real life, but we hope we get the chance to see her character on screen as she and Gregory fall in love, despite her being betrothed to another man.
