This political satire has aired only one season so far, but its hilarity is worth investing your time in.

Have you ever wondered what happens at a crime scene after an investigation? This show answers that question, revolving around a government-hired cleaner who restores order to places after various types of deaths and other crimes while also getting to know the residents.

6. The Cockfields (2019, 2 seasons, 7.4)

Following the eponymous family, this show explores two unfortunate engagement stories of the same character. Each time, something goes wrong; no matter how happy he appears, his family decides otherwise.

5. Breeders (2020, 4 seasons, 7.5)

With such an ironic title, this dramedy follows a pair of parents from London as they navigate their relationship, careers, and, of course, parenthood. The show is rather candid in its portrayal of the latter, not shying away from problematic topics like alcoholism and child abuse. There's a good chance you've heard of this one, as it's available on Hulu.

4. State of the Union (2019, 2 seasons, 7.7)

This anthology miniseries is unlike anything you've seen before. Each season follows a troubled married couple as they meet at a pub (S1) or a cafe (S2) before their marriage counseling sessions. Lasting only about ten minutes, each episode delves deeper into the story of the couples.

3. The Durrells (2016, 4 seasons, 8.2)

This historical comedy-drama is set on the picturesque island of Corfu in the 1930s and revolves around the family of two renowned English writers – Lawrence and Gerald Durrell. Based on the latter's memoirs, this is a charming and heart-warming family story that one can't help but get invested in. And be sure to pay attention to each season's opening themes – they're full of Easter eggs.

You've probably heard of its American counterpart, but this show originates from Britain.
