8 Celebs in the Guinness World Records
These 8 stars have broken records in every sense of the word: they have made it into the Guinness World Records.
Lady Gaga
Lady Gaga got famous after the release of her debut album The Fame. The less known fact is that it also landed her in the Guinness World Records because it topped the charts for 154 weeks, longer than any other album had ever done before.
Lady Gaga’s other entry in the Guinness World Records is as the most searched-for female star on Google.
Dwayne Johnson
Dwayne has three entries in the Guinness World Records. In 2002, he was offered the lead role in the Scorpion King and five years later the Guinness World Records included him as the actor who received the largest remuneration for his first ever lead role in a motion picture. He got paid 5.5 million dollars for it.
In 2015, Dwayne deliberately set out to break a record: he bet he would manage to take 75 selfies with fans in just a few minutes. But he actually went above and beyond that goal: during the premier of Sand Andreas he took selfies with 150 fans within the space of just three minutes. All the selfies turned out great and ended up online.
Finally, in 2017, Dwyane Johnson made 245 pounds of dip sauce, which got him another spot in the Guinness World Records.
Jackie Chan
Jackie Chan is one of the best action movie stars and is famous for performing all his stunts himself. A lot of the stunts are quite challenging and dangerous but Jackie never uses stunt doubles.
Thus, he was placed in the Guinness World Records as the action movie actor to get the most credits in one move and the living actor who performed the most stunts.
As he received the award, Jackie admitted that when he was making Chinese Zodiac, also known as Armour of God 3, the thought of setting a Guinness world record never even crossed his mind.
Madonna
Madonna has achieved a great deal and one of her accomplishments is a spot in the Guinness World Records. In 1996, she starred as the titular character in the musical Evita. During the filming of the movie, she wore 85 different outfits, 42 different hairdos, 56 sets of earrings and 39 hats. The Guinness World Records simply had to include her.
Justin Bieber
Justin Bieber also has several entries in the Guinness World Records. His first video Baby made it into the Guinness World Records as the Youtube Video that got the largest number of negative reviews. Some 1.5 million users bashed the singer and his video in 2011.
Well, as the saying goes, there is no such thing as bad PR, so Justin’s career kept going from strength to strength and six years later, when he released his new album Purpose, it was a smash hit not just with his fans but with lots of other people, too, so it broke eight records
The most notable statistics that made it into the Guinness World Records include the 30,723,708 plays that the track What Do You Mean? Got on Spotify in just 7 days and the 200,000,000 plays for the album itself in the same space of time.
Shakira
In 2014, the Colombian singer made it into the Guinness World Records for getting the largest number of likes on Facebook: she got a hundred million likes.

Eminem
2013 saw Eminem release his new single Rap God that put him in the Guinness World Records: he managed to rap 1,560 words in six and a half minutes on that record, meaning, he was rapping at a rate of five words per second.
2020 saw him release Music to be Murdered By, whose most popular track, Godzilla, has Eminem rapping out 229 words in just 30 seconds.
