Maybe this is too obvious a choice, but the Ton's favorite modiste would definitely love the 2006 comedy-drama about a fashion magazine and its ill-tempered editor-in-chief. Besides, as an outsider to high society, Madame Delacroix could relate to Anne Hathaway's underdog character.
Penelope Featherington – Gossip Girl
Well, this pairing may be so stereotypical as to come off as corny, but what can you do? Penelope's whole Lady Whistledown arc screams Gossip Girl. And there are a lot of similarities between LW and GG. However, the revelation of Gossip Girl's identity was much more shocking than Lady Whistledown's, which Penelope would definitely like.
Queen Charlotte – The Crown
Although technically Charlotte is Queen Consort, she has a very prominent role on Bridgerton. In addition, her personality, sense of duty, and service to the country are similar to those of Queen Elizabeth II of The Crown. Last but not least, Charlotte's relationships with her children are very similar to those of Elizabeth II, as portrayed in the hit Netflix drama.
Eloise Bridgerton – Little Women
Eloise is a controversial character, but one thing's for sure. She likes stories that empower women. Greta Gerwig's 2019 period drama would definitely resonate with the second Bridgerton girl, who would find the character of Jo March, portrayed by Saoirse Ronan, very relatable. They're both one-against-the-world types, and very stubborn ones at that.
Violet Bridgerton – Titanic
The Bridgerton matriarch may seem a bit dull at first, but there is much more to her than meets the eye, which is gradually revealed throughout the series. The most amazing thing about her is her undying love for her late husband, Edmund. This fairy-tale romance is similar to that of Rose and Jake in Titanic, so Violet would definitely be a fan of James Cameron's iconic romantic disaster movie.
Daphne Bridgerton – Barbie
Daphne may not seem like the biggest feminist, but she understands the weight of societal expectations that every woman carries on her shoulders. In that sense, she'd be a big fan of America Ferrera's Gloria, whose monologue about the hardships women face on a daily basis is arguably the most iconic part of Barbie.
Kate Sharma – 10 Things I Hate About You
Kathani Sharma is one of the most popular characters on Bridgerton. But she has a very unpleasant trait. She is spiteful. Her entire love arc with Anthony Bridgerton consists of her mocking and belittling him, which strangely enough leads to them falling in love. Therefore, she would find Kat Stratford's story, which is very similar to hers and Anthony's, very interesting.
