6 Best Friends Christmas Episodes for Your Holiday Marathon

The holidays are just around the corner, which means now is the perfect time for a marathon of Christmas episodes of Friends. All you have to do is get comfortable and get started!

1. The One With The Monkey – Season 1 Episode 10

In this episode, as you can easily guess from the title, Ross gets a monkey named Marcel, which of course does not please Monica.

Meanwhile, Phoebe starts an affair with scientist David, but he has to go on a long business trip soon. Of course, everything ends with a holiday party, which Chandler's ex Janice also attends.

2. The One with the Girl from Poughkeepsie – Season 4 Episode 10

In this episode, Ross meets a girl who lives in Poughkeepsie. But he's not thrilled that he has to spend several hours getting to her.

Chandler decides to find a guy for Rachel among his co-workers, and Phoebe decides to write the perfect Christmas song. And Monica comes up with a cunning plan to teach her subordinates a lesson – she hires Joey as a waiter.

3. The One With the Inappropriate Sister – Season 5 Episode 10

Ross temporarily moves into Joey and Chandler's apartment and even helps the former write a script, which of course ends in a fight.

Meanwhile, Rachel goes on a date with her neighbor Danny, but is wary of the man's too-close relationship with his sister. Phoebe suddenly starts doing charity work in this episode, but takes it on too eagerly.

4. The One With the Holiday Armadillo – Season 7 Episode 10

Perhaps the most famous Christmas episode of Friends, in which Ross is left alone with his son Ben for the holidays. They can't get a suitable outfit at the last minute, so they have to make do with an armadillo costume.

Christmas is saved by Chandler as Santa Claus and Joey as Superman. Meanwhile, Phoebe wants to move back in with Rachel and decides to trick her into moving out of Joey's apartment.

5. The One with Ross's Step Forward – Season 8 Episode 11

In this episode, Mona and Ross are going to send out Christmas cards. He realizes that this is a big step for her, and in return gives her the keys to his apartment. Only they were in a single copy.

So now Ross has to change the locks. Meanwhile, Chandler is forced to lie to his boss that he broke up with Monica because she didn't want to go to their office party.

6. The One With Christmas in Tulsa – Season 9 Episode 10

This time, Chandler goes on a business trip to Tulsa just before Christmas, where he has to fend off his persistent co-worker Wendy. This is the last straw for him – Chandler quits his job to spend the holidays at home.

And Phoebe tries again to write a Christmas song, after which she and Rachel once again go in search of the gifts hidden by Monica.
