The German series Dark is an absolute mind-bender with a story that includes time travel, supernatural events, and a lot of family drama. The story is set in motion with the disappearance of two children and quickly unravels within four interconnected families over three generations that somehow link. There is a lot to be uncovered in this series and a lot to be understood. You will be left guessing till the end.
Dark may not be filmed in English, but it has been recognized as one of the stand-out international series on Netflix and is well worth watching.

This series combines psychological thrills, drama, and elements of horror, and has been praised for its complex storytelling and dark characters.
