The whole idea of a reunion is getting old. (But we're still here for it).

After giving us hits like 'Worth It' and 'That's My Girl,' Fifth Harmony went on an indefinite hiatus in March 2018, without addressing if and when the group would return.

Over the years, some of the former girl band members have hinted at the possibility of a reunion, and we've gotten our hopes up every time.

1. In 2018 they left the door open

Back in 2018, the four-girl group (minus Camilla) surprised fans with the release of an emotional music video for their song 'Don't Say You Love Me.' The video featured the girls together in an empty room, wearing stunning black and white gowns.

However, the most exciting part was the ending, where they exit through a door one by one, and then leave the door open. Fans believed that this symbolized the group 'leaving the door open' to Fifth Harmony, that one day the group would reunite.

2. Ally Brooke's 2019 interview

Brooke seems to be the most vocal of all about the future of the once-famous girl group. In an interview in 2019, when asked about the possibility of the group reuniting in the future, she said: 'Who knows, anything is possible.'

3. Ally Brooke addresses the reunion in November 2022

The fact that Brooke was responding to the question in the first place gave fans a glimmer of hope. Brooke used TikTok to address fans who were asking about the group getting back together, but her response seemed clear.

Written across the posted video were the words 'When will Fifth Harmony have a reunion?' the singer's answer to the question was to lip sync the words, 'First off b**ch, mind your business!'

We heard her loud and clear, but at the same time, she didn't outright say that the group was never getting back together.

4. Dinah Jane and Lauren Jauregui reunite in May 2023.

The former Fifth Harmony members all went in different directions, but Dinah Jane and Lauren Jauregui reunited publicly for the first time, since 2018, at Jauregui's EP release party. The pair danced together, hugged tight and posed for photos together. Fans were hopeful that this hinted at bigger news, but were sadly mistaken, as nothing followed the pair's emotional reconnection.

5. In June 2023, Ally Brooke addresses Fifth Harmony reuniting, again

In a recent interview with KTU 103.5, Brooke revealed that there would be a big announcement in the weeks following, saying:

'There's something we have that is back, and I say 'we,' so let's see.'

When asked if her news had something to do with a reunion, she simply said, 'Yeah, I mean, we will see about that.'
