Sullivan's Crossing (2023-present, 1 season)

A neurosurgeon finds herself in legal trouble, which forces her to return to her rural hometown and reconnect with her estranged father. Along the way, she finds both friendship and love.

This new CTV drama is obviously at the top of our list because, like the Netflix show, it's based on a Robyn Carr novel series of the same name. Everything from the premise to the scenery in this show is guaranteed to appeal to Virgin River fans.

Hart of Dixie (2011-2015, 4 seasons)

This CW dramedy tells the story of a big-city doctor who fails to become a heart surgeon and moves to a small coastal town to work as a general practitioner. As she adjusts to local life, she forms bonds with the townspeople, some more than others.
