As the second month of 2024 comes to a close, new projects are about to be released. Here are five notable debuts to watch this week.

The Voice Season 25 (NBC, Feb. 26)

The anniversary season of America's favorite singing competition kicks off tonight at 8 p.m. ET on NBC. In the twenty-fifth installment of The Voice, a new group of talented contestants will try to win over the coaches – John Legend and Reba McEntire, who return from Season 24, Chance the Rapper, who reprises his role from Season 23, and Dan + Shay, who previously served as mentors on the show.

The second episode of Blind Auditions premieres tomorrow, February 27.

Shōgun (FX, February 27)

Rachel Kondo's adaptation of James Clavell's novel of the same name premieres tomorrow with two episodes. The highly fictionalized story of William Adams' life in medieval Japan and his rise to the position of samurai under one of the most powerful shoguns, Tokugawa Ieyasu, follows Jack Balckthorne, who is shipwrecked in Japan and must adjust to life there; Lord Toranaga, who must fend off his many enemies; and Lady Mariko, a samurai who must constantly prove herself.

The FX series has ten episodes scheduled to air weekly.

Code 8: Part II (Netflix, February 28th)

This sci-fi movie is a sequel to the 2019 film, which takes place in an alternate reality where some people have superpowers and are ostracized for it. The new installment follows Connor Reed and Garret Kelton on a new quest when a young girl, targeted by the corrupt police, hires them as bodyguards.

The doom and gloom of the movie will make you appreciate your life and the world we live in more. So why not watch it?

The highly anticipated spinoff of the hit legal drama The Good Wife is another installment in the fan-favorite franchise about brilliant lawyers defending the truth and people in trouble with the law. The new show will focus on TGW's most eccentric and memorable character, Elsbeth Tascioni, as she moves to New York to help the local police department follow the rules and bring justice to the world.

Season 1 has ten episodes.

Spaceman (Netflix, March 1st)

In this space drama, Adam Sandler's character is sent to the edge of our solar system to collect a sample of mysterious dust. As the astronaut travels through space, he becomes preoccupied with his earthly problems, including his pregnant wife, and can't pull himself together until he meets a mysterious alien creature who helps him sort things out.
