It's always heartwarming to learn that your beloved celebs are also besties.

Famous actors and media personalities often become friends with each other after meeting on a movie or TV series set or at behind-the-scenes meetups and events. However, these friendships rarely last long, either ending as soon as the stars' collaboration on a project is over or as a result of some scandal or controversy.

Luckily, there are some stars who continuously prove that they value their relationships, as they have remained friends with their colleagues for quite a long while.

Here is a list of five most iconic celebrity duos of all times.

5. Drew Barrymore and Cameron Diaz

Drew and Cameron have one of the longest friendships in Hollywood, lasting over 30 years. The two stars met as teenagers, and their bond grew stronger during the filming of Charlie's Angels.

'She's still my bestie and sistie — sistie? That's a new word. It's Cameron Diaz,' Drew said in 2021. The actresses are best friends, and Diaz is a frequent guest on Barrymore's personal podcast.

4. Ben Affleck and Matt Damon

Equally famous is the friendship between Affleck and Damon, who have known each other since childhood, as their homes in Cambridge, Massachusetts, were only two blocks apart.

The two have pursued acting careers alongside each other, and both eventually became successful actors, producers and directors, starting two production companies together.

3. Paris Hilton and Britney Spears

Back in the early 2000s, Hilton and Spears established themselves as one of the most iconic duos, and their friendship continues to this day, even though the two stars haven't appeared together in public recently.

When Britney's career was in ruin, Paris was very supportive of her friend, and they are still spending a lot of time together.

2. Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen

Sir Ian McKellen and Sir Patrick Stewart met in 1992 during the production of Tom Stoppard's Every Good Boy Deserves Favour. However, their friendship did not begin until 2000, when they played buddies-turned-enemies Magneto and Mr. X, and they have spent much of their free time together ever since.

1. Pedro Pascal and Oscar Isaac

However, nothing beats the sweet bromance between Pedro Pascal and Oscar Isaac!

'We're both children of Latin immigrants, so there's sort of a cultural familiarity, then at the same time we're both actors. We have the same dreams.' Pedro said, commenting on his close bond with Oscar. 'It's something very special because it can be a lonely journey when you're out there [...] going after your dreams, and to find family along the way.'

'The other side of it is that he's the younger brother I never wanted.' the actor joked.
