She certainly knows how to attract a headline.

Millie Bobby Brown shot to fame as Eleven in Stranger Things. But her career has been plagued by scandal - some real, some not.

Here are 5 Millie Bobby Brown scandals:

A grooming scandal with Tiktoker Hunter Ecimovic

When Newsweek published a story about TikToker Hunter Ecimovic claiming to have 'groomed' Millie Bobby Brown when she was underage, a scandal seemed certain to follow. Her representatives denied the story, but Brown later said there was some truth to the allegations of inappropriate behaviour on Instagram Live. However, she said she had learned and grown from the incident.

She allegedly assaulted her co-star

In a clip posted on TikTok, Brown described how she surprised co-star Louis Partridge by unexpectedly kissing him during filming. And she faced a social media backlash as a result. It may not be the worst assault in the history of TV and film, but it was ill-advised given the news of recent years.

However, we don't know the nature of Brown's relationship with Partridge - or his position on the matter.

She was accused of faking a skincare demo

When she released a video of herself allegedly using her own skincare products, it's fair to say that people had a right to expect that these were the products she was using.

But it turns out she wasn't using any products at all, just rubbing her face with dry hands. Not cool. Although she later apologised, thanked her followers for their feedback and assured them that she had taken it on board and was learning.

She was accused of dressing indecently

No one has the right to tell anyone else how to dress. But some have accused Millie Bobby Brown of dressing inappropriately for her age and being a little too sexual in her fashion choices.

Given that she has a predominantly young female following and the world is awash with body image issues, you can see why some of her style choices have been poorly received. But then again, she is a young girl still finding herself - not just a celebrity.

Unreasonable demands

OK, so technically that was her dad. And it was a call that could have ruined her career before it even began. But according to the Hollywood Reporter, he asked agents for $100,000 for the rights to represent his daughter.

Unreasonable? Possibly. Cheeky? Definitely. Successful? Oh, hell yes!
