The show will premiere in practically no time.

It's been nearly twenty years since the last episode of NBC's hit sitcom Frasier aired. Making his debut on Cheers that aired from 1982 to 1993, the beloved titular character was awarded with his own spin-off, Frasier, that spanned eleven seasons over two millennia. Now, a reboot series is due to be released on Paramount+.

With just a month to go before the reboot premieres, the network has released a trailer to heat up fans' anticipation of the show.

Here are five major takeaways from the revamped Frasier trailer.

5. Frasier Will Have to Make New Friends

As announced at the beginning of the trailer, Dr. Frasier Crane has moved from Seattle back to Boston, where Cheers took place. Since he spent most of his life in the Washington State capital, he'll have to make new friends in the new place which, in Frasier's case, is almost always doomed and hilarious.

4. Dr. Crane Will Further Pursue an Academic Career

A celebrated psychiatrist, Dr. Frasier Crane will teach at a yet unknown but prestigious university in Boston. Anyone familiar with his communication style must be wondering how he will pull this off. Indeed, so are we…

3. Frasier Has Father-Son Problems

Perhaps, the core of Frasier's reasoning for moving to Boston was that his son lives there. However, it appears there's a lot of tension between the two men that Dr. Crane seems blissfully unaware of. Now, he will have to make amends with his own son.

2. He Is the Same

Personality-wise, Frasier doesn't seem to have changed just a bit. He's still the insufferable and overbearing old self. Fortunately, he also smells good – just as usual. On the bright side, that's the main vehicle of the show's humor.

1. Frasier Will Seek to Fulfill Old Dreams

Although it is unknown why Frasier has moved back to Boston, it appears he has some unfinished business there. And as the trailer teases, Dr. Crane will continue to pursue his dreams – perhaps, his desire to fall in love is unquenchable after all.

Ultimately, the new chapter of Frasier is the most anticipated premiere of this fall, as there are few new shows coming out this season. It is set to drop on Paramount+ on October 12th.
